Does this electric bike really reach 38mph?

Retrovolt Pro electric bicycle’s no-load speed hits 40mph. As an electric bike for adults, actual speed depends on rider weight and road conditions—~34mph for riders over 180 lbs on flat ground, closer to 38mph for those under 180 lbs.

Why does my ebike’s battery level drop suddenly when accelerating?

Your electric bike’s display is a "voltage meter." High power output during acceleration temporarily lowers battery voltage, causing the false low-battery reading. It rebounds when power eases—normal for electric bikes.
